Mark Burdette founded Journey Controls in 2024 after working for multiple other engineering companies. He saw firsthand how his employers made promises to clients that they had no way of keeping and he wanted to do better. Mark began Journey Controls to provide a solution for clients seeking high quality, efficiently designed industrial automation products that are safe, reliable, functioning, based on quality proposals that will be completely fulfilled, and are delivered on time.
Journey Controls utilizes over 15 years of experience in electrical engineering. We specialize in a wide range of services, including PLC programming, creation of schematic designs, BOM creation, and more. We also provide consultation services to help our clients identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.

He is originally from Hinton, West Virginia but moved to Virginia in 2005 where he received his electrical engineering education from George Mason University and Johns Hopkins University. He and his wife currently live in Fredericksburg, VA with their dog and four cats. They are newlyweds who look forward to starting a family soon!
